Prohibited Activities

You may not use Owl Eyes services to:

Illegal Activities

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Facilitate money laundering or terrorist financing
  • Engage in identity theft or fraud
  • Circumvent sanctions or export controls

Harmful Content

  • Distribute malware, viruses, or other harmful code
  • Engage in phishing or social engineering attacks
  • Collect personal information without consent

Service Abuse

  • Submit fraudulent or fake verification requests
  • Attempt to reverse engineer or bypass security measures
  • Overwhelm our systems with excessive requests
  • Resell or redistribute our services without authorization
  • Use automated systems to scrape or extract data

Verification Misuse

  • Use verification services to discriminate against individuals
  • Verify identities for purposes unrelated to legitimate business needs
  • Bypass the Community Safety Network consent requirements
  • Misrepresent the purpose of verification to end users

Your Responsibilities

  • Ensure all verification requests are for legitimate business purposes
  • Obtain proper consent from individuals being verified
  • Protect any data received through our services
  • Comply with all applicable data protection laws
  • Report any suspected violations or security issues

Enforcement

We reserve the right to investigate violations of this AUP. We may take any action we deem appropriate, including:

  • Issuing warnings
  • Suspending or terminating accounts
  • Removing content or access
  • Reporting violations to law enforcement
  • Pursuing legal action

Reporting Violations

If you become aware of any violation of this AUP, please report it to us immediately at abuse@owl-eyes.com.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this AUP from time to time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified policy.
