Common Questions

Why per-employee instead of per-authentication?
At enterprise scale, employees may authenticate 50+ times per day (physical access, workstation unlock, privileged actions). Per-auth pricing would cost 10x more than our annual license. We believe in predictable costs.
How does billing work?
Annual contracts billed upfront or quarterly. Employee count is reconciled monthly—if you add employees mid-contract, you're billed a prorated amount for the remaining term.
What's the difference from Identity Verification?
Identity Verification is one-time customer onboarding (KYC). Enterprise Authentication is repeated employee access— employees enroll once, then authenticate continuously for building access, workstation login, and privileged actions.
Can we trial before committing?
Yes. Professional tier includes a 14-day trial for up to 25 employees. Enterprise and Strategic tiers include custom pilot programs with dedicated support.
What about compliance (HIPAA, SOC 2, etc.)?
Owl Eyes is pursuing SOC 2 Type II certification. For HIPAA-regulated organizations, we offer a compliance package that includes a BAA, enhanced encryption, and extended audit controls.
