Overview

Owl Eyes makes identity verification simple. In this guide, we'll walk you through setting up your account, creating a verification link, and seeing the results in your dashboard.

1. Create Your Account

   Visit the signup page to create your account. You can sign up with your email or use your Google/GitHub account.

   Note

   Your first verification is completely free! You'll need to add a payment method to verify your identity and prevent abuse, but you won't be charged until you start processing real verifications.

2. Navigate the Dashboard

   Once logged in, you'll see your main dashboard. This is your command center for managing verifications.

   Key areas include:

   • Overview: See recent activity and success rates.
   • Verifications: Detailed list of all verification sessions.
   • Create New: The button to generate new verification links.

3. Create Your First Verification Link

   Click the "Create Verification Link" button in the top right corner.

   You can customize:

   • Verification Type: Document only, or Document + Selfie + Liveness.
   • Reference ID: An optional internal ID to track this user.
   • Redirect URL: Where to send the user after they complete verification.

4. Send the Link

   Copy the generated link (e.g., verify.owl-eyes.com/v/123xyz) and open it in a new tab (or send it to yourself via email or your preferred messaging app).

   Walk through the flow as if you were a user: upload an ID and take a selfie.

5. View Results

   Return to your dashboard. The verification status should update to Verified or Review Required instantly.

   Click on the verification to see detailed extracted data, including name, date of birth, document number, and authentication scores.
